Prizefighter Light-Middleweights set for February 26 - 07/01/2010

MATCHROOM Sport can confirm that the next event in the hugely-popular Prizefighter Series will take place on Friday, February 26.

Prizefighter Light-Middleweights will be the tenth competition in the spectacular eight-man, one night tournament but the first at that weight.

The next Prizefighter event will take place on February 26

The competition returns to its original home as all the action will be held at the York Hall in Bethnal Green, east London.

This was the setting for the original heavyweights competition as well as the welterweights, middleweights and light-heavyweights tournaments.

Once again, every punch from every bout will be screened live in the UK and Ireland on Sky Sports.

Prizefighter has proved crucial for many fighters' careers with a successful evening at Prizefighter often leading to a shot at a major title.
